If you wish we can stop for a visit at the emerald grotto (entrance fee € 7.00 ) On your way to Amalfi you will see the Cape of Conca with its Saracen tower. An ancient watchtower built in the sixteenth-century by the viceroy of Naples, Pedro de Toledo, to defend the territory against invasions by the Turks.The Marina di Conca became popular in the sixties and seventies when it hosted many celebrities, most notable Gianni Agnelli, Sofia Loren, Princess Margaret of England and Jacqueline Kennedy, who in 1961 when returning from a visit in Ravello, made a stop here for a swim. Here you can enjoy the clear waters, relax and sip on prosecco. If you wish you can have shopping time through the colored boutiques of Positano or of the fascinating town of Amalfi, have lunch in a typical seaside restaurant with great local specialities. Enjoy the warm afternoon sun by cruising along the isoleted inlets and caves of Maiori and Minori or rech the small islands Li Galli , famous for being the home of the famous Sirens of Ulysses, and in more recent times the famous Russian ballet dancer Rudolph Nurejev. Return around 6.00 pm
